Rose Kallor, LLP is pleased to announce that four of its attorneys were recognized by Best Lawyers^® in 2024.

Managing Partner Michael J. Rose was recognized in The Best Lawyers in America^® 2024 edition in Litigation – Labor and Employment for the thirteenth year in a row and Employment Law – Management for the sixth year in a row. As Managing Partner of Rose Kallor, LLP, Mr. Rose is widely recognized as one of Connecticut's leading employment litigators in his representation of governments, government officials, and private businesses both large and small.  He has tried over twenty cases to verdict in the areas of employment law and civil rights.

Partner Robin B. Kallor was recognized in The Best Lawyers in America^® 2024 edition in the Labor Law – Management category for the sixth year in a row as well as Employment Law – Management and Litigation – Labor and Employment areas for the third year in a row. Ms. Kallor regularly advises and represents employers on a broad range of labor and employment matters involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour issues, breach of contract, hiring processes, employee discipline, workplace policies, and any other matter that pertains to the employer-employee relationship in both the unionized and non-union settings.  Additionally, a significant portion of Ms. Kallor's practice is devoted to her role as a neutral, through her role as an independent workplace investigator and as a mediator. Ms. Kallor provides workplace training to clients and through continuing legal education programs and is a frequent speaker on emerging labor and employment law issues.  She also mediates discrimination cases for the Office of Public Hearing at the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities and serves on the Town of West Hartford Civilian Police Review Board. 

Partner Cindy M. Cieslak was recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch^® in America 2024 in the Labor & Employment Law - Management category for the third year in a row.  Ms. Cieslak's practice focuses on all aspects of labor and employment litigation in state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies, including the defense of public sector and private employers against claims of discrimination, wage and hour violations, breach of contract, free speech retaliation, whistleblower retaliation, and other civil rights violations. Ms. Cieslak also conducts independent workplace investigations and provides advice to employers regarding compliance with labor and employment laws, including contractor compliance and affirmative action plans.

Associate Andrew B. F. Carnabuci was recognized by Best Lawyers:^® Ones to Watch in America 2024 in the Labor & Employment Law - Management category.  This year marked his first recognition by Best Lawyers^®. Mr. Carnabuci's practice focuses on all aspects of employment litigation in state and federal court as well as before administrative agencies, including claims of discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, breach of contract, and FMLA violations.  He also has significant experience in litigating commercial contract and business tort claims and has achieved successful outcomes in both state and federal appellate work.
