Rose Kallor, LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Cindy Cieslak has just been awarded a Professional Excellence Award “New Leader in the Law” by Connecticut Law Tribune.  Winners of the 2019 Connecticut Legal Awards have been determined through a panel review of submissions sent in from attorneys and firms from across the state. This award spotlighted young lawyers who have excelled in the courtroom, in client service and cultivation, in service to bar associations and in performing pro bono work or community service in a volunteer capacity.

Cindy Cieslak's practice focuses on all aspects of labor and employment litigation in state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies, including the defense of public sector and private employers against claims of discrimination, wage and hour violations, breach of contract, free speech retaliation, whistleblower retaliation, and other civil rights violations. Ms. Cieslak also provides advice to employers regarding compliance with labor and employment laws, and she prepares employee handbooks and best practices manuals for employers.
