Associate Attorney
Megan Nielsen focuses her practice on employment litigation, including wrongful termination, workplace discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, wage and hour issues, breach of contract, workers' compensation, and unemployment compensation. Ms. Nielsen was selected as a Super Lawyers 'Rising Star' for 2022 in the area of employment litigation defense.
Ms. Nielsen spent years working as a reporter covering the Connecticut state and federal courts prior to becoming a lawyer. She received her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and earning a Workplace Law concentration with honors. In law school, Megan was a competition member for the Society for Dispute Resolution. In 2020, she and her partner won the national championship in client counseling, a first for QUSL. Ms. Nielsen was also awarded the Kathy Eldergill Prize for Excellence in Employment Law from the Connecticut Bar Association.
Prior to joining Rose Kallor, Ms. Nielsen was an attorney at an employment defense firm in New Haven.
