Ms. Beckford-Anderson’s practice focuses on all aspects of employment law. She defends public sector and private employers against claims of discrimination, breach of contract, free speech retaliation, whistleblower retaliation, and other civil rights violations.
Prior to joining Rose Kallor, Ms. Beckford-Anderson served as a legal research law clerk for the judges of the Connecticut Superior Court.
Ms. Beckford-Anderson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University. She also holds an Associate of Arts, cum laude, in Liberal Arts from Capital Community College, where she was named to the Dean’s List.
Ms. Beckford-Anderson received a Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law. During law school, she interned at the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights & Opportunities. She also served as an extern for the Honorable Robert G. Fields at the Western Housing Court in Springfield, MA. Additionally, Ms. Beckford-Anderson served as a certified student attorney at her law school’s Legal Services Clinic where she assisted low-income clients. She is the recipient of three CALI Awards for Excellence in courses on Electronic Discovery, Consumer Protection, and Domestic Violence. She was also named to the Dean’s List.
