Brendan W. Clark is a Summer Associate at Rose Kallor and works with the firm's employment defense litigation team on federal and state workplace discrimination cases and associated state agency actions, including Title VII and Title IX cases. Mr. Clark also supports the firm in its employment investigation practice. 
 
Mr. Clark holds a B.A., summa cum laude, in History and Public Policy & Law from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and is pursuing a J.D. at William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia. At law school, Brendan is a member of the Moot Court team and is a staff member of the William & Mary Business Law Review. Mr. Clark is also a Dean's Associate and the Director of Alumni Affairs for the Labor and Employment Law Society. Additionally, Mr. Clark serves as President of William & Mary's Business Law Society and Vice President of Alumni Relations of William & Mary's Election Law Society. 
 
Mr. Clark's recent independent legal scholarship, “The Clearfield Compromise Revisited: Federal Common Law Post-Erie and Contemporary Preemption Issues for the ‘Intimately Involved' Sovereign,” is currently undergoing revision with the support of faculty. Mr. Clark is also pursuing scholarship on paleography and capitalization in the inscribed version of the United States Constitution.  
 
During the academic year, Mr. Clark volunteers with the Greater Richmond Bar Foundation's Eviction Diversion Program to assist tenants facing eviction and serves as a researcher for the National Center for State Courts, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the efficiency of judicial administration in the state courts. Mr. Clark is also a research assistant for William & Mary Law School Associate Dean Aaron-Andrew Bruhl, where he is supporting a project on the historical influence of equity in the Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure. 
 
Mr. Clark was previously a law clerk at Rose Kallor during his senior year at Trinity. Prior to joining Rose Kallor as a Summer Associate, Mr. Clark served as a legal assistant with a general practice firm on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and with the Connecticut Attorney General's Office in the Antitrust and Government Program Fraud division, where he worked on False Claims Act litigation. 
 
Mr. Clark is a student member of the Defense Research Institute and the American Bar Association. Mr. Clark also sits on the board of the Trinity College Alumni Association.
